It's Starcraft and / or related in any way Warcraft games Warhammer Fantasy Warhammer 40k or workshop?

The comparison between Warcraft and Warhammer Fantasy Battle is often. I also keep hearing stories about how the original Warcraft was originally suppossed to be a game of Warhammer Fantasy, but failed with Games Workshop, but above all has Warcraft. Is there any evidence that the two were destined to be in the same universe and instead of Blizzard changed afew detail to create the Warcraft first by including more material than is found as Dungeons and Dragons? Similarly, is there any way to confirm that the reason why Starcraft is so similar to Warhammer 40k is due in part to Blizzard still feel angry about how Gamesworkshop denied Fantasy Warhammer license and therefore there is a lot of similarities and parallels between the two licenses?

Hi, for starters, it's very possible that Blizzard won Gamesworkshop ideas. Warhammer 40k has been around since the early 80s (which spacehulk called).
