The Coolest Items in World of Warcraft and How to Get Them - Part 3 - Formal Dangui

This series of articles will cover the rarest and most desired items in the World of Warcraft game. For each item covered you will find in the article - how to get the item, if there is any added cost to the item and the advantages you will get for using it (if any).

The Formal Dangui is very rare chest armor that is sold for 50 Gold, 66 Silver and 22 Copper by Geenia Sunshadow in Moonglade. Because its spawn time is very long (Some say it is high as 2 months, I don't have the exact time, but I believe its mach lower then that), it is one of the rarest "common" items you can find.

The price (more than 50 gold) may seem to mach but you can sell it on the AH for up to 500 gold on some servers (especially RP servers). Also you aren't likely to see anyone else with this wow items on so it's very unique.

Way you will want to have this wow items?

You can put on this armor at level 1 (no level requirement), but you can enchanted it like it's a level 60 items (so no problem with the +35 level enchant). Furthermore this item do not binds to you so you can have a high enchant on it and use it for all your low level characters, And when you no longer need it - you can sell it on the AH as well.

To get higher chances to get it, you will want to have an alt park near Geenia Sunshadow, just check your alt before login and logout. You will not have mach competition except during the lunar festival. There are in fact some more items that do not bind on equip and have no level requirement, and are item level 35+. The items are:

 

• Green Wedding Hanbok, this wow items is sold by Geenia Sunshadow as well. It will cost you 13 Gold, 72 Silver and 14 Copper. It's 40 level item but will work the same way (So if you get a chance buy the Green Wedding Hanbok as well as the Formal Dangui, if you can afford it, and sell one).  
• Royal Dangui sold by vendors in UC (Sheldon Von Croy as well as Victor Ward), SWC (Lisbeth Schneider as well as Rema Schneider), and Moonglade (you guess it, by Geenia Sunshadow). It sells for 27 Gold, 42 Silver and 64 Copper. It's a 50 level item, but because you can get it in the cities it's not as rare as the first two.  
• Simple Black Dress crafted by Tailoring with 240 level, can be learned from any trainer. The cost of making it is less than a gold (2 at most). It's a 47 level item.  
• Haliscan Jacket is a tailor pattern sold by Haliscan Jacket in Tanaris. You will need 250 in tailoring to learn it, but the pattern only cost 50 Silver and it's Unlimited (So buy several of them and sell on AH). This is a 36 level item.

 

So now you know the secret of having a high level enchant from level one, this will definitely make your leveling process easier.

Plus if you get the Formal Dangui you can make a lot of gold as well.
