What I've learned farming:

There are a few things I want to let you guys in on before you start farming. I've been doing this for a good while and definitely have made some mistakes and learned a lot along the way. One such was the importance of managing your downtime. If you're going to be farming, then you need to be constantly farming which means getting out there and killing as much as possible. You don't want to be sitting around so find places where mobs have fast respawn rates, utilize bandages, and lastly conjured mage water opposed to vendor water. All these things add up and will pay dividends down the road.

Great Farming Spots

Winterspring - In the spot (67,40) you can farm Ice Thistle Yetis. They drop vendor trash items, green items, and occasionally blue items. As stated, if you're a skinner you can get their rugged and thick leather.

Felwood - In the spot (37,43) you can find Angerclaw Maulers Bears. Expect to find a bunch of these bears in this spot (around 15) so you'll definitely have your hands full. You can farm them for their gray vendor trash but of course, skin them for their rugged and thick leather.

Important Points to Note:

Although these are great gold gathering tips for world of warcraft I want to make one thing completely clear. Farming these areas, and generally farming as a whole, tends to be very taxing on your time. To farm these areas for a lot of gold will take a big part of your day up. The people that predominantly see success farming, farm up to 12-16 hours per day. I wasn't wiling to sacrifice that amount of hours but at the same time wanted a lot of gold.
