How can i be richer on world of warcraft?

i am a level 10 human mage and i only have 15 silver and i got that from looting and quests etc, any ideas of how to make a lot of money (gold), i have some professions like blacksmithing,fishing, mining and fishing but i dont really know how to make money from doing them things or doing the professions either....Any tips please!!??

Well, the first thing I would have to say is do not, DO NOT go to gold farming or gold guides, potentially these are used to steal your WoW password and use it to hack your account and such.
Not to mention that if it does actually work, you can have the possibility of having your account banned by the Game Masters.

But, what usually works out for me on new servers and characters is to get two of these professions: Mining, Skinning, or Herbalism. Since these are gathering professions, you don't need to spend any money on them except buying the next level of profession. Meaning, you can only get richer.

Sell these items you gather on the auction house, and it tends to somehow help if you sell them in stacks of 1 for a cheap price each, since the thought in people's mind seems to be "Oh, this costs less than the others!" because seeing a smaller price as oppossed to [ex.] 20g per stack for 20 somehow makes people feel like they aren't spending a lot of money.

The auction house is a building in the city of Stormwind which is in the Northwestern part of Elwynn Forest [Very hard to miss.] Once in the city, ask a guard where the auction house is, and they will put a little icon on your map to show you where it is. There are auctioneers you can talk to, and you can buy and sell items there. It is pretty easy to figure out, but when selling, be sure to look at the other prices of the items you are selling are going for, and try to undercut it just slighty. Always put a buyout, and a bid that is a little bit lower.

Also, another thing that will keep your money high is not to buy any armor from auction house/vendor unless [ex] you are level 20 and still have gloves from level 6. Or unless you have a lot of money, and the item is worth it.
Doing certain quest chains and such will often reward you with free armor and money.

For making money, it is best to do two gathering professions, since all creative professions [Blacksmithing, Alchemy, Leather working, Jewel crafting, Enchanting] literally eat up your money in an instant when you can't find the mats and such.

One last thing is never beg or ask for money from people! It makes other people think you are a noob and it gets highly irritating to the people being asked, not to mention you could just get the money faster from professions and questing.
