How do you make money on World of Warcraft?

I am a level 6 Elf Hunter.

I just can't seem to make money.

Sure, sell some items you get off npc's and a quest here and there.

but minus the cost of arrows and keeping up your armor. can't get enough coins to buy better stuff.

any help or tips?

How do I skin. can't seem to find any hunting trainers but sure find everyone else lol

Speak with a gaurd in the city to find a skinning trainer, and a leather worker if you want to make gear.

The way I made money was to sale every little thing I got. Even the white items, the grey I just vendor out. You can check prices for items on websites or relate the items you see up for auction and try to sale it for the same price or a little bit cheaper so people will more likely buy your items first. From level 1-49 I made about 1.6k. Later I was able to buy duel spec which was 1k gold which is having two talent trees, and buy a few tabs in my guild bank I made for myself to stock items to sell or to use later. It may take time for you since it seems like your a new player. Take the time to save money, search for prices to use to price your items in the auction house. For me it only takes less than 20 or 15 minute, i just log in on my alt and sale the items there. I trade items to him and sale the items on him. Because your name shows along with the items that you sell in the Auction house, and i'm sure you dont want your main character that you mainly play on to show up on there, because if your selling something unique and too expensive as usual but people need it desperately. People will usually MAY remember your name. There was a priest that was well known in our server because he was too expensive, he sold things for a high price in the auction house and it trouble the WoW economy. But by doing this I worked my way out to get a epic flying training and epic flyer at 70. Which helped A LOT to get where I needed to fast and quick, the quicker the faster you'll get your exp and reward, and to just move on to your next area.

Also blizzard made it where you can see the expense on items, if you view on rewards off of quest and see a reward that you can't use or isn't any better than the current item you are using. Smart thing to do is either view for the most expensive reward that'll vendor high. Or you can always disenchant it and sell the shard, but since you want skinning you can sell the leather, i heard skinning can make some good G. Last I remember I had to buy 20 rugged leather and they were nearly 40g on my server. But it was quite worth it I guess because that stack got me where I wanted to be in tailoring.

Also you should use this website to level your faction. Its a really good site, it helped me a lot, and not even that but saved me a lot. Sadly I wished I found this website sooner than before or else I wouldn't of had used so much of my gold, but since I sold every little thing I got and do whatever it took to get gold I had a lot of gold. Right now im in outlands leveling, and getting high amount of gold off of quest and I don't even have to worry about saving my gold for anything because I got cold weather flying and my epic flyer already.

But since your a low level, grinding for wool may be best, it seems to be really expensive in the AH and a hard drop. Stonetalon mountain has a lot of harpies and they respawn pretty fast too, and there is a lot of them. You can always grind for wool when you reach level 25-30. I forgot what level the harpies was but they were around 24-28 I think. But since I have a 80 I actually grinded all the wool and cloth I needed to train my first aid, on my warlock and didn't even have to worry about using it for my first aid training, I just sold it to make money! =D

But since i'm rolling as a priest and got tailoring I sorta need it haha
